PROCESS SERVING FORMS

These forms have worked for me, for the past 15 years.
By Maintaining something tangible , it helps to protect the server in case the client says he/she wasn?t informed
Additionally , ?The server problem report? Just might identify a ?Typo? or other mistake the client or their client may have made. It costs the client money to file these cases. If we can help them identify a problem quickly, it helps to facilitate the service process while at the same time it makes you look professional and helpful.
Members may print and use these workable forms should they think they may be helpful.

                                This morning I received an e-mail from a paralegal asking for status from one of the attorneys in this firm. This is what he wrote to her:" I believe both of these were filed over a month ago, and we have not received a SERVER PROBLEM REPORT or confirmation that the defendant(s) have been served."

           This is what I wrote back. "Your attention should be directed to the PROBLEM REPORTS I submitted dated  June 21,2011. If you are unable to locate them I`ll refax them"I received  these papers  on June 14, 2011; the PROBLEM REPORT was submitted six days later giving them the opportunity to  advise as to what further action I should take.                                                  Thank you for letting me know that you like the forms. I`ve been using them for years and my  clients feel slighted if they don`t receive them. THE SERVER PROBLEM REPORT  really has helped the clients as it gives the client an opportunity to find new location information. In most cases, particularly filing their papers in the higher courts, the fees are very costly so it`s imperative to give them every opportunity to  eventually get the  paper served.  It also shows you did your due diligence which is required by state statute.
